When fulfilling a shipment, if some items are “in stock” but we cannot satisfy the entire shipment, and “Ship To Home Consolidation” is not enabled, then we will be prompted to “Split the Shipment”. All the items that were not accepted will then be assigned to another store for fulfillment, creating a new shipment for the missing items that goes through Order Routing for assignment. That shipment will then be sent to a new fulfillment location that can process it.In this video, I will be demonstrating how “Split Shipments” work in the “Ship To Home” fulfillment workflow. We discussed the typical “Ship To Home” workflow in a previous video.
