With the EDD configuration in place, we can now see what that configuration produces in practice. KIBO surfaces Estimated Delivery Dates at every stage of the shopper journey: on the Product Detail Page before the shopper adds anything to their cart, in the cart itself, and on the order record for retailers and fulfillment staff after the purchase is made.In this video, we’ll walk through all three of those views — the shopper-facing experience on the storefront, the order record in the KIBO Admin UI as a CSR would see it, and the shipment queue and detail view in the Fulfiller UI. We’ll start on the KIBO Fashion reference storefront. We’re on the Women’s category page, and we’ll select a product to see how EDD surfaces on the Product Detail Page. When we select the “Ship to Home” option, we can see two pieces of information surfacing together: the “Estimated Delivery Date”, and a “Real-Time Inventory” count. KIBO is calculating both simultaneously, giving the shopper confidence not just in when the item will arrive, but that it’s available to ship now. This combination of EDD and real-time inventory is what enables retailers to reduce purchase hesitation at the most critical moment in the shopper journey. On the “V-Neck Dress” PDP, the “Pickup in Store” panel shows “ESTIMATED PICKUP” but prompts the shopper to choose a store before a date can be calculated. This is expected behavior — for Pickup items, EDD is calculated as the current date plus the processing time at the chosen location, so KIBO needs to know which location before it can return a date. Now that we’ve chosen a store, the “Pickup in Store” panel is showing an “Estimated Pickup” date of Tuesday, June 16, 2026 — two days earlier than the Ship to Home date, which reflects the difference between Pickup processing time at the store versus the Ship to Home processing time plus carrier transit time. Both EDDs and real-time inventory counts are displayed simultaneously, giving the shopper everything they need to make a fulfillment decision right on the PDP. We’re looking at the KIBO Admin UI — this is where a Customer Service Representative, or CSR, would go to look up an order, review its details, and see EDD information on the associated shipments. A CSR can use this view to answer shopper inquiries about delivery timing without leaving the admin platform. Retailers using KIBO EDD can give shoppers a confident delivery promise at the point of discovery, and carry that same date through every internal system — from the CSR answering a customer call to the associate pulling items from the shelf.
