In this video, I’m going to demonstrate the KIBO Business Admin UI Homepage, and how to navigate between Tenants, the Side Menu, and the information presented on the Homepage itself. When logging into a KIBO Sandbox or Tenant, this is the page we will land on. In KIBO, the terms “Sandbox” and “Tenant” both refer to the KIBO Business Admin UI, and will be used interchangeably. On the top right, we can see the current Tenant that we are logged in to. There is also a dropdown where we can scroll or type to search for other Sandboxes to navigate to, if needed and applicable. The left-side menu will be our main way of navigating the Admin UI. If we click the “X” on the upper far left, we an collapse the menu. The menu has two tabs that control the menu selections available below them. The “MAIN” tab has all of the menu items that Business Users will access for day-to-day management of KIBO’s eCommerce platform, such as “Catalog”, “Marketing”, “Orders”, “Order Routing”, and more. The “SYSTEM” tab has the Tenant Settings and Setup menu items. This is where users will manage things such as Payment Settings, Platform Extensibility, User Access Roles and Permissions, Localization, and more. The previous steps illustrated a “Full Access” menu for a “Super Admin” role. KIBO’s Admin UI can limit access based on a Users Role, and the Permissions associated with that Role. For example, if a user had a “Fulfiller” role in a store or warehouse, their access within the UI could be limited to only those menus that are essential for that role, as shown here. Using the same example, there would be no “SYSTEM” menus that a “Fulfiller” role would need to access, so those have all been disabled. Clicking the dropdown under the Tenant name will allow users to navigate back to the KIBO Launchpad. Launchpad contains links to other Dev environments and Sandboxes, and therefore access to it may not be available for all users, even if the link is present. For example, to access the “Categories” menu, on the “MAIN” tab, we would click open the “Catalog” dropdown, and then click on “Categories”.This allows for organizing relevant menus together. Other menus, like the examples highlighted here, have no submenus and you will access them directly by clicking on them.
