In this example, the new discount will be created on the “KIBO Retail” Catalog, so any “Site” using this Catalog will have access to the discount. To create a new discount, we’ll click on the “Create New Discount” button in the upper right corner. For how much percentage, the line item will be discounted. This can be any integer value between 0 and 100 up to two decimal places. In this example, we’ll provide 15% off. This means that the line items product subtotal price will be reduced by 15%. This value is essential for calculating the final discounted price. If we want the discount to only be applied on specific sites, then we can select those sites from the “Exclusive Sites” drop-down list. These options are limited to the sites associated with the same Catalog we are creating the discount in. If this field is left blank, then the discount will be available to all sites of the Catalog.
