In this video, I will demonstrate the “Target Criteria” section for an “Order”-type discount. The Target Criteria specifies the details of what the discount applies to once the “Discount Conditions” are met. For example, we may want to provide a “free bracelet”, which would be the “Target Criteria”, if a shopper purchases more than $100 of our products, configured in the “Discount Conditions”. For “Order”-type discounts, we can select if we want to “Exclude Products” that already have other “Product” and/or “Shipping Discounts”. For “Order”-type discounts, we can select if we want to “Exclude Products” that already have other “Product” and/or “Shipping Discounts”. We can also decide if we want to “Exclude” any specific “Products” and/or specific “Categories”. For example, we may have a discount for “10%” off an order, but we may not want to discount products in a “Shoe” Category. If we want to select multiple Shipping Methods, we will be restricted to selecting Methods that belong to the same Site.“Shipping Zones” allow us to specify if we want the discount to apply to products shipping to specific “Regions”. If the discount type is set to shipping and set of product in the general section, we can also select the shipping method and the shipping Zone. We’ll select from Shipping methods that belong to the site or sites that are connected to the catalog. The discount is being created on if a catalog, has a single site attached to it shipping methods, for that site will be displayed. If a catalog has multiple sites, shipping methods will be tagged with their site name to help differentiate between the options. If we want to select multiple shipping methods, we will be restricted to selecting methods that belong to the same site. Shipping zones. Allow us to specify if we want the discount to apply to product shipping to specific regions.
