In this video, I’m going to provide an overview of the “Strategies” dashboard of the Order Routing Menu. In this video, I’m going to provide an overview of the “Strategies” dashboard of the Order Routing Menu. To navigate to the Order Routing menu, in the left menu, on the “MAIN” tab, click “Order Routing”. To navigate to the Order Routing menu, in the left menu, on the “MAIN” tab, click “Order Routing”. This brings us to the “Strategies” dashboard. This table lists every Routing Strategy configured for the selected Site, giving a high-level view of the Routing logic. We can use the “Site Selector” on the top right to switch Sites—for example, moving from the “US” Site to the “France” Site. If a Site has no Strategy yet, it’s “Strategies” dashboard will be empty. When we create a new Routing Strategy, we give it a “Name” and optional “Description”, which helps us differentiate it from other Strategies on the list. The table lists Strategies by Order “Type”, such as “Direct Ship”, “Transfer”, “Delivery”, “Return”, or “Disposition”.The “Status” column clearly marks which Strategies are “Active” on the Site versus those that are “Inactive.”Important note: each Site can only have one “Active” strategy for each Order “Type” at any time. The table lists Strategies by Order “Type”, such as “Direct Ship”, “Transfer”, “Delivery”, “Return”, or “Disposition”. The “Status” column clearly marks which Strategies are “Active” on the Site versus those that are “Inactive.” Important note: each Site can only have one “Active” strategy for each Order “Type” at any time. We can also determine whether a Strategy supports “Single” or “Multiple” Assignments.“Multiple” allows for Shipment assignment across different Scenarios, whereas “Single” keeps all item assignments within a single Scenario. We’ll discuss this further in the “Creating an Order Strategy” video.
