In this video, I’m going to demonstrate creating and managing “Coupon Sets” in the KIBO UI. We’ll discuss creating and managing both “Manual” and “Generated” Sets. To navigate to the “Coupon Sets” menu, on the “MAIN” tab, click “Marketing”, then click “Coupon Sets”. As with most menus in the Kibo UI, we can Search and use Advanced Filters to quickly find the “Coupon Sets” we need. Any “Site” created using the Child Catalog where a “Coupon Set” is created has access to the “Set”.In this example, we’ll create our new coupon sets on the “KIBO Retail” Child catalog. “Coupon Sets” are created using a Parent and Child Catalog combination. Next, we’ll discuss the individual columns for the “Coupon Sets” menu, and the information it lists. Lastly, “Number of Assigned Discounts” shows the number of “Discounts” that have been assigned to the “Coupon Set”. This will present the option of creating either a “Manual” or “Generated” Coupon Set. We’ll discuss the creation of both of these Coupon Set “Types” in this video. We’ll begin by giving the “Coupon Set” a descriptive “Name”. In this example, we’ll call it “10% Off Entire Order”. We’ll begin by giving the “Coupon Set” a descriptive “Name”. In this example, we’ll call it “10% Off Entire Order”. Next, we can enter an optional “Start Date”. This defines when the “Coupon” becomes active and available for shoppers to use. The calendar interface allows for precise selection of both the “Date” and “Time”, ensuring that the coupon aligns with a promotional schedule, if applicable.Leaving this field blank means the “Coupons” will take effect immediately. Leaving this field blank means the “Coupons” will take effect immediately. The “End Date” is also an optional entry, and defines when the “Coupon” expires. It uses the same calendar interface as the “Start Date” for precise selection of both “Date” and “Time”.Similarly to the “Start Date”, leaving this field blank means the “Coupons” will never expire. However, the “Set” will no longer be available once it hits the “Max Redemptions”. The “End Date” is also an optional entry, and defines when the “Coupon” expires. It uses the same calendar interface as the “Start Date” for precise selection of both “Date” and “Time”. Similarly to the “Start Date”, leaving this field blank means the “Coupons” will never expire. However, the “Set” will no longer be available once it hits the “Max Redemptions”. The next 2 fields are “Max Redemptions Per Code” and “Max Redemptions Per Customer Per Code”, and control how many times each code can be “Redeemed”. Both fields default to a “Value” of “1”.“Max Redemptions Per Code” sets the “Total” limit for each “Coupon Code”, and “Max Redemption Per Customer Per Code” sets the limit on how many times a single shopper can redeem a “Coupon Code”.For example, if we want to offer “10% Off an Entire Order” and want to allow a total of 1,000 redemptions, we can create “one” code and set the “Max Redemptions Per Code” to “1,000”. This allows the one code to be used a thousand times. Alternatively, we can create “1,000” unique codes and set the “Max Redemption Per Code” to “one”, and achieve the same goal.Setting “Max Redemptions Per Customer Per Code” to “one” ensures each shopper can only use a code once. The next two fields are Max redemptions per code and Max redemptions per customer per code and control. How many times each code can be redeemed? Both Fields default to a value of 1. Max redemptions per code sets, the total limit for each coupon code and Max Redemption per customer per code sets. The limit on how many times a single Shopper can redeem a coupon code. For example, if we want to offer 10% off an entire order and want to allow a total of 1,000 redemptions, we can create one code and set the max redemptions per code to 1,000. This allows the one code to be used 1000 times. Alternatively, we can create 1,000 unique codes and set the max Redemption per code to one and achieve the same goal. Setting, Max redemption’s per customer per code to one ensures each Shopper can only use a code once. When we’ve configured the “General” fields as required, we’ll click “Save and Continue” to proceed. When we’ve configured the “General” fields as required, we’ll click “Save and Continue” to proceed. Next, we’ll add the unique “Coupon Codes” we want to use. We can manually type in each code, such as “COUPON 10” or “A-B-C-1-2-3”, and press “Enter” or click the “Add” button to include them in the “Coupon Set”. Alternatively, we can use KIBO’s “Import/Export” feature in the Admin UI to upload a CSV file of codes to be used with the “Coupon Set”, if desired.We’ll discuss KIBO’s “Import/Export” feature in a separate video. Next, we’ll add the unique coupon codes. We want to use. We can manually type in each code such as coupon, 10, or abc123 and press enter or click the add button to include them in the coupon set. Alternatively, we can use Cabos import export feature in the admin UI to upload a CSV file of codes to be used with the coupon set, if desired. We’ll discuss keebos import export feature in a separate video. Lastly, we need to apply the “Discount” or “Discounts” that we want to associate with the “Coupon Set”. In this example, we’ll apply the “Discount” of “10% Off On 100OrMore".Thismeansthatshopperswhoapplythese"CouponCodes"willreceivea10100 Or More". This means that shoppers who apply these "Coupon Codes" will receive a 10% discount on their entire order, provided they spend at least 100.The “Discounts” section allows users to search for and select the appropriate “Discount” from a list of available discounts. This ensures that the correct “Discount” is applied to the “Coupon Codes”, preventing any errors or inconsistencies. Users can also apply more than one “Discount” to a “Coupon Set”, if desired, which allows for the creation of complex “Coupon Sets”. Lastly, we need to apply the “Discount” or “Discounts” that we want to associate with the “Coupon Set”. In this example, we’ll apply the “Discount” of “10% Off On 100OrMore".Thismeansthatshopperswhoapplythese"CouponCodes"willreceivea10100 Or More". The “General” section of the “Create Generated Coupon Set” is exactly the same as the “Create Manual Coupon Set”, where we’ll enter the Coupon Set “Name”, optional “Start” and “End Date”, and the “Max Redemptions” values. The main difference between “Manual” and “Generated” Coupon Sets is how we get the Coupon Codes themselves. Next, we can set a “Code Prefix” that will appear at the beginning of our “Generated” coupon codes, if desired. We can also allow the system to “Suggest” a “Prefix Code” by clicking the “Suggest” button. Users are able to edit suggested prefix codes.In this example, if we wanted to use the prefix “SHIP20”, we’ll enter that in to the “Code Prefix” field. We’ll get a “Preview” of what the “Generated” coupon codes will look like in the “Preview” field, with “X’s” standing in for the random alphanumeric characters that will make up the rest of the “Generated” codes. Next, we can set a “Code Prefix” that will appear at the beginning of our “Generated” coupon codes, if desired.
