“General Settings” allow users to configure tenant and site-wide settings for each individual tenant or sandbox available. This can include settings for things like Emails, SMS, Storefront, Analytics, Site, and Subscriptions. It’s important to note, however, that not all settings are going to exist in “General Settings”. In this section, we define the default Site Email values for “Sender email”, “Sender email alias”, “Reply-to email”, and “Bcc email”. However, KIBO can also use the “Sender email alias” as an alternate name for the “Sender email”.For example, if our sender email is [email protected], we could use an alias of “Mystic Sports Orders”. Sender, email is the email address that will appear when kibo sends an email. However, kibo can also use the sender email, Alias as an alternate name for the sender email. For example, if our sender email is orders out, yacht mail.com, we could use an alias of Mystic Sports orders. “Reply-to email” defines the email shoppers should use to reply to an automatically-generated email, if applicable. “Reply-to email” defines the email shoppers should use to reply to an automatically-generated email, if applicable. “Bcc email” sends an email to a blind carbon copy recipient anytime an automatic email is sent, if applicable. “Bcc email” sends an email to a blind carbon copy recipient anytime an automatic email is sent, if applicable. After we’ve defined our default Email addresses for this Site, we can go through and enable or disable individual Emails. Emails are listed in relevant sections, such as the “Order Emails” section shown here. The “Order confirmation” Email has been disabled. To enable it, we can click on the slider button. When an Email has been enabled, a “pencil icon” will become available. Clicking this allows us to override the “Sender email”, “Sender email alias”, “Reply-to email”, and “Bcc email” that we just set. We can do this for all emails at an individual Email level. The “SMS” section can be found by clicking the “SMS” tab next to “Email” The “SMS” section can be found by clicking the “SMS” tab next to “Email” “SMS” works very similar to “Emails”, in that we can toggle individual messages on and off and hover over “Tooltips” for more contextual information. For “SMS”, It’s unnecessary to define any “Sender” or “Reply-To” information.These are the “SMS for Store”, “SMS for Curbside”, and “SMS for Shopper” sections available in the KIBO platform. SMS works very similar to emails and that we can toggle individual messages on and off and hover over tooltips for more, contextual information. For SMS, it’s unnecessary to Define any sender or reply to information. These are the SMS for store SMS for curbside, and SMS for Shoppers sections available in the kibo platform.
